Are The Days of Cheap .INFO Domain Names Over?

Looks like my favorite registrars are conspiring against me, as both GoDaddy and eNom have raised the price on .INFO domain names--at the same time! As an eNom reseller, I was getting .INFO domain names @ $4.99 a piece. Now they're charging me $9.95 per .INFO name. Not happy. Here a snippet from a recent email:

"As 2005 comes to an end, so will the special reseller pricing for .info domain names. Therefore, as of December 31, 2005, eNom will be ending the special discount on .info reseller rates. In 2006, prices for .info domains will then return to their original prices for resellers and subresellers.

The .info promotional pricing campaign was a great success, so look for further promotions from eNom in the coming year.

Thank you again for choosing eNom for your reseller needs. For more information on this or any other eNom reseller sales issue, contact your reseller account representative today.

Thank you, Your eNom Sales Team"

EDIT: OK, now GoDaddy has dropped the price of .INFO domain names to $5.95, and I may be able to use a coupon code to get an extra dollar off that price. Ahhhh...much better. Will eNom drop their price in response? I certainly hope so.

FYI: The latest GoDaddy coupon code is gdh010330 which gets you $10 off any order of $50+. Enjoy!
