Free, Web-Based WYSIWYG Web Page Editor, As Well As 100MB of Space: Yup, It's Google

If you are one of those "I love everything Google" folks, then Google's latest free service will probably interest you. It's the Google Page Creator: a web-based WYSIWYG web page editor, combined with 100 megabytes of web space.

I'm guessing that Google Page Creator will be very popular. Web newbies who have heretofore been opting to create a blog as their first website now have the option of creating a free, non-blog site, thanks to Google.

Evidence of Google Page Creator popularity: when I tried to signup for the service, this is the message that was returned to me:

"Thank you for your interest in Google Page Creator! Google Page Creator has experienced extremely strong demand, and, as a result, we have temporarily limited the number of new signups as we increase capacity. In the meantime, please submit your email address and we will notify you as soon as we are ready to add new accounts. Thank you for your patience."

If you are interested in Google Page Creator, point your web browser to http://pages.google.com; if you try it, feel free to post a comment here with your review. Thanks.
