New Yahoo! Index Update

The good folks at Yahoo! are currently rolling out a new update for their search index. There's no way to know exactly when the latest update will be completed, but it should be done by tomorrow or Thursday.

From my perspective, this latest update isn't looking too good (so far.) The last one was better, IMHO.

I agree with you. I am the owner of a search engine uses Yahoo but adds visual previews of the sites.

I personally found the results were much better (astonishingly so) before this last update.

Hopefully someone over there will take notice and find a way to go back. With the updates happening so often maybe next month will be better.

Yup, this update is definitely over, and it's definitely not as good as the last update. I'm really not too concerned, however, because they update every month now, and I'm confident that they'll do better next time.
