Rejected GoDaddy SuperBowl Ad

Fox rejected GoDaddy's first choice of a SuperBowl ad. I'm no fan of Fox but I do agree with their decision this time. The ad is quite tasteless. Looks like it was put together by a bunch of drunk fraternity teenagers.

The more I read about the controversy over the GoDaddy Ad, the more I have to wonder if it was mean to air at all. The publicity they are getting from it not airing is better than if it had. The internet deplores censorship as a whole and will rally behind such a cause, which makes great PR for GoDaddy, fighting the government and the networks. It's a classic PR stunt that will probably pay off in the end, more than the ads that do air.
