Highly Recommend: The Latest Yahoo! Toolbar
The latest version on the Yahoo! Toolbar is a web browsing tool that I highly recommend. Simple to install, easy to configure and has a highly effective anti-spyware feature.
Recently, my main workstation PC had been getting sluggish. Despite going through my usual list of fixes (defrag, disk scan, virus scan, etc.) my computer was still hesitating in the most annoying way. I was very seriously considering doing a complete wipe of my hard drive then reinstalling my operating system and programs, but, as you can imagine, that is a HUGE pain and would gobble up a massive slice of my precious time.
So imagine my happiness when I found that the Yahoo! anti-spyware tool, which is free with the latest version of the Yahoo! Toolbar, was able to quickly and easily remove all sypware code from my computer, which in turn restored my computer to peak performance. My main workstation is now running as fast as it did when I purchased it in 2008. Yahoo!

FYI: My workstation is an Acer computer, with an AMD Athalon 64 X2 dual core processor 4400+ running at 2.29 Gigahertz. I have 1.75 GB of RAM installed.

I'll be sure to check it out. I've been having trouble with browsing on my pc lately, hopefully this may help.

I love it. It's finds spyware on a regular basis. It's the kind of utility that makes one wonder how one did without it!
Sounds like I might need to give it a try, my laptop seems to run pretty slow at times while browsing the internet
I'll have to give it a shot. I am looking for something to replace Comodo for spyware because it is too drive intensive. It slows the drive down and runs up processor like crazy. Looks like Yahoo Toolbar may be a good part of a new combination to fight off the bad places.
Sadly computer maintenance in this day and age costs a fortune to do it right and safely and absorbs much much more time than anyone has. I have received a number of offers to use the Yahoo taskbar because I think Adobe or some other downloads push it. I actually live in a city with Yahoo offices and see the Yahoo logo when I go to Starbucks locally. I am not sure what help the antispyware is, Yahoo does not own that technology.
What I am concerned about is the low quality of email search in the Yahoo email product of late. As of about a month ago no searches come back with any results. I would like to see that fixed before I allow that company to install resident technology n my main Internet communication device. Security and privacy is also an issue. What happens to registry control when I click Ok on the Yahoo navigation toolbar installation?
My problem is that the Yahoo messenger is full of crackpots trying to get to me and the Yahoo nav bar keeps them springing up. It's annoying, and otherwise I would probably use the Yahoo taskbar because I have main yahoo account I check into about 55 times a day. I'd sure like the email function to be more trustworthy and perform to any standard before I trust device resident programming form Yahoo.
